Meet Our Directors
The directors of dance studio are Jolene and Glen Mollerick. Affectionately known as Mama Jojo and Papa Glen, the couple has always had a passion for moving their feet and bodies to music. It was this love for dance that led them to open Stars Studio in 2008.
They modeled our academy after La Maison de la Dance, a dance company that was owned by their former trainer Miss Ronnie. Miss Ronnie operated the business for over 40 years. Like the Mollericks, she has taught several students, including many of our instructors.
After opening our studio, Mama Jojo and Papa Glen began teaching students in a family-oriented environment. They specialized in (and currently offer) tap, jazz, pointe, and ballet classes to both creational and pre-professional dancers. As our studio became more successful, they added hip-hop, pom, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop/tap combo classes (boys only), ballet technique, and stretch classes to their list of courses. Papa Glen even began teaching toning courses in 2014, which have helped our dancers increase their strength and endurance.
