Our first production, “A Star Is Born”, is now in the history books. I am so excited and proud to say that it was a tremendous success! All of the work the students put forth came to fruition on stage both Friday and Saturday nights. . . . and there are so many people to thank.
First and foremost, the parents. I know there are many options available and I do appreciate you choosing Stars Studio for your child’s dance education. Thank you for entrusting them to us!
I want to thank Veronica (“Miss Ronnie”) Mack for giving me the foundation for successfully running a dance studio. While I modernized her template, I found that most of what she did really worked. I hope you still get the feel of “community” when you bring your child to dance class.
To Megan Stolba – you have truly been a lifesaver! Often times, when I overlook something, you remind me or innovate some new way of doing something. You are a very talented and diligent young lady, and I am blessed to have you on staff. Everyone needs to know that this could not have taken place without you. Thank you for doing the staging, the show running order and the music!
To the rest of my staff – YOU ROCK! That’s really all I need to say!
Thank you to all of the backstage volunteers – we couldn’t have done this without you!
And last, but not least, to my husband of 22 years. Glen – you are my ROCK! Thank you for believing in my vision, and making it a reality. Thank you for all the handyman work you do around the studio and thank you for cooking dinner so many nights while I’m there. They say when you open a business it’s like having a child. I know Stars Studio would not have enjoyed the success it has thus far without your love and support.
I hope that all the parents, siblings, grand-parents, friends, neighbors, and even dance alumni enjoyed the show. I hope to see all of you over the summer or at our fall registrations on August 12th & 13th, 19th & 20th . And as always . . . THANK YOU FOR DANCING WITH STARS!
